The spam on the forum is really getting out of control. Can't something be done? Can there be a captcha added to the new user signup in order to keep bots out or something? It's getting to the point that I don't even want to sift through all the crap to find a post I may be able to help with, I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Yeah, trust us when we say it's been bugging us as well.
The main thing we're working on now is a switch to vBulletin, which will give us more spam fighting options and make it easier to clean up after spammers. Hopefully once the change is made we'll see a decrease in spam. For now, the best way to deal with it is to report it so we can find it and clean up after it more quickly. We're doing the best we can to keep on top of it, though.

Thanks for the response guys. I have to admit I gave up hitting report when there was one user who had thiry porn spam posts and that was all the new posts since my last visit.
Spammers == The Devil.
One more thing I should mention, definitely don't reply to spam. One of the ways I try to track down new spam posts is by searching the "unanswered posts" list each day.
